On Easter day of last year, botanical artist Dyana Hesson crossed off an entry from her “bucket list” and found the impetus for this February’s solo show.
Titled Up Close and Personal, these new oil paintings feature intimate views of giant tecolote ranunculus flowers that comprise The Flower Fields® at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, California.
